About the author
Christian Lanciai
Born an Italian citizen in the heart of the capital of Finland, his father being half Italian, the rest of the family belonging to the Swedish minority of Finland, with many artists on his mother’s side, who was a sculptress. After three years in Argentine, Buenos Aires, where his father worked in shipping for Finland, the family moved to Gothenburg, Sweden, where the author has lived since. He decided to become an author at the age of 9 and has never stopped writing in Swedish and English. He sticks to his family roots both in Finland and Italy, going there regularly every year, but keeps up his work in Sweden also as editor and translator mainly by networking.

First part
October Harvest
It’s a book of poetry, each poem telling a story of its own. Most of the poems deal with love, that’s the dominating theme, then there is a lot about music mainly picturing composers, and then there is a geographical department, almost like a journey, characterizing different countries. In between there is a lot of general reflections of a philosophical and metaphysical kind, dealing also with death and other facts of life, generally sticking to realism, some poems being purely documentary.
